Pillar Solutions BV and Waterford Technologies Form New Distribution Partnership

Pillar Solutions, Leidschendam, The Netherlands, to Introduce File Archiver to BENELUX

Wednesday, 12 November 2008 - Waterford Technologies, the leading provider of intelligent data management solutions, and leading technology distributor Pillar Solutions BV in the Netherlands today announced they have formed a partnership to serve the Benelux marketplace with File Archiving products from Waterford Technologies.

File Archiver from Waterford Technologies includes “Smart Stubbing”™ , which is a new, “clientless” software technology for organisations to save expensive file server storage space with three file virtualization methods to seamlessly replace entire files with tiny, intelligent links to the files that have been captured, compressed, encrypted, and de-duplicated in the MailMeter File Archiver Windows-based server. Organisations can shrink their use of expensive storage with policy-driven intelligent archiving that migrates, unused and unneeded files to more cost effective storage devices that already exist in the organisation, whilst allowing users to seamlessly access these files as normal.
