Ferris Research released an analysis of email archiving vendors' capabilities to deliver value outside of the generally accepted benefits of legal eDiscovery, investigative searching, compliance with regulatory rules and procedures, and email server storage relief called Email Archiving: Reporting Needs to Be More Interactive.
